With so much theatre and arts programs it sometimes feels as if Walnut Creek is the cultural capital of Contra Costa county.

There is a centrally located public transit station that allows easy access to the various restaurants, public areas of interest, and shops. Even if your work location is in the Bay Area it allows for public transportation there. Another viable option available to commuters is that of the bike trails. While I used the bus and shuttle transportation to work when the weather was a bit rainy, which wasn’t often. There were plenty of trails that lead into and out of Walnut Creek that allowed me to commute from home to work with problem at all. It was a money saving option that allowed me to stay fit.
